In a huge development, the release of Bollywood hero Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ has been postponed yet again. The big reason behind this is, the clash of three big films at the box office. Apparently Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘BEAST’ and Yash’s ‘KGF – Chapter 2’ are releasing on April 13th and 14th respectively and they are getting a pan India release.
South theatres are completely occupied with ‘BEAST’ and ‘KGF 2’ while in North, there is a huge demand for the Kannada film. The makers had a discussion with the stakeholders and distributors and decided to avoid the clash. After due consultations, the makers of ‘Jersey’ have decided to push the release by a week.
The new release date of ‘Jersey’ is April 22nd and the makers are hopeful to get decent screens by the time of the release.
‘Jersey’ , the remake of Telugu film with same title, also stars Mrunal Thakur. The film already missed the deadline a couple of times and pray it doesn’t repeat and sticks to the new release date this time.
