After scoring a roaring blockbuster with The Kashmir Files, director Vivek Agnihotri and producer Abhishek Aggarwal have teamed up for their second collaboration, The Delhi Files. Vivek took to social media to announce this new project.
“I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For the last 4 yrs, we worked very hard with the utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus,” tweeted
“It’s time for me to work on a new film. #The Delhi Files,” he further added.
Though Vivek didn’t reveal what The Delhi Files is about, it is being heard that the film deals with the 1984 Sikh riots that took place in New Delhi.
After the assassination of Indira Gandhi on 31st October 1984, there were huge anti-Sikh riots in various parts of the country. It was high in Delhi. Reportedly, 3000 Sikhs were killed in these riots happened in Delhi.
It looks like Vivek is planning to unravel the dark secrets behind this brutal genocide. More details about The Delhi Files will be announced soon.
