Telugu Stars Should Stop Doing ‘Bhajana’ Interviews

Interviews given by Charan and NTR regarding RRR in Bollywood territory are a super hit. At the same time, the candid interviews of Prashant Neel and Yash to promote KGF: Chapter 2 turned out to be million-view videos on YouTube. At this juncture, the high point is that the honesty in those interviews and the questions being shot at them have made them more special.

But some Telugu stars who are promoting their other ‘big’ releases, are roping in some popular lady anchors for their promotions now. Guess what, these anchors ask nothing new and their questions are always filled with loads of ‘bhajana’ and ‘dappu’ only. Especially when they ask others, questions like, ‘how did you feel standing next to him?’, it sounds pretty cheap and awkward. While bringing a change in the mindset of such anchors is not possible, it is possible for our stars to avoid doing such bhajana interviews.

Especially when the whole world is looking at Telugu ‘commercial’ films seriously and watching every single YouTube interview video of the stars here, flattery-laced interviews don’t work. Moreover, these interviews are also leading to the trolling of those stars on social media. Well, when Telugu cinema is conquering the world, these interviews should not become a prick in the seat.
