Buzz: Alia Out, Rashmika In!

Currently, Jr NTR is prepping up to start his next film with director Koratala Siva. A couple of months ago, it was reported that Alia Bhatt will be playing the female lead in this film.

Alia also confirmed the same in one of her interviews. But if the latest grapevine is anything to go by, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has walked out of the project.

The reason for Alia’s exit from the film is yet to be known. Apparently, the makers are in no mood to waste any time and are currently looking for a replacement.

According to the sources, the team is considering Rashmika Mandanna for the role. They want someone who has a pan-India appeal to be the lead actress.

Rashmika got nationwide fame with Pushpa and is also doing films in multiple languages right now. Thus, she is being considered for the female lead character in the movie.

The regular shooting of this film will begin in June. An official announcement about Rashmika’s inclusion is expected to be made soon.
