Pawan Kalyan Gives A Go For Vijay’s Film Remake

After the long wait, it looks like Pawan Kalyan has agreed to do another remake and he picked up a commercial thriller rather than a Malayali film that will preach and teach. Reports are coming that the team has already started the pre-production part of this film, and here comes some details.

We are hearing that Pawan has given a go-ahead for the remake of the super hit Tamil film “Theri” which was helmed by Atlee there. Featuring Vijay and Samantha, Amy Jackson in the leads, it’s a blockbuster movie in Kollywood. The Telugu version featuring Pawan Kalyan as a police officer will be directed by Saaho’s Sujeeth. While this young director was supposed to handle the Telugu version of Lucifer featuring Megastar Chiru in the lead (Titled Godfather in Telugu), he was replaced by Jayam Raja later. And it looks he has got another remake to handle now.

And this film will be produced by the RRR producer DVV Danayya. As remake films always helped the Powerstar score bigger hits, it looks like he is banking on Theri now. Actually, he was supposed to accept the remake of Mallu film Driving License, but somehow things didn’t go that way.

Meanwhile, Pawan has films like Krish’s Hara Hara Veera Mallu, Harish Shankar’s Bhavadeeyudu Bhagath Singh, and Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham’s remake under Trivikram’s writing, in the production pipeline.
