Young hero Kartik Aaryan is starring in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ which is sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2007 – Bhool Bhulaiyaa. With the second installment gearing up for release next month the trailer was dropped by the makers.
Kartik Aaryan appears like an exorcist but he has got a cool attitude who can deal with ghosts that easily. “I have been raised among ghosts,” says Kartik and he ends up at an ancestral palace owned by Tabu.
The palace is haunted by Manjulika who was trapped in a room. Who is Manjulika and why did she turn into a ghost and was seized in a room? We get partial hints to these questions as the female lead Kiara Advani flashes as a ghost. She also plays the love interest of Kartik Aaryan and thus suggests the film has enough twists and turns.
The trailer kind of drops a big clue that Kartik Aaryan might be seen in dual roles and the second role might be an intense one.
That said, the trailer is not that scary but it might be an attempt to keep the suspense element intact. But oh yes, the devil has returned.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is releasing on May 20th.
