Mani Sharma Added Fuel To An Already Weak ‘Acharya’

After a few postponements, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharya movie got released today amidst much less buzz and hype. Surprisingly, there’s no buzz around the film. Even the pre-bookings in A.P, Telangana, and Overseas are pretty much ordinary. This is despite the fact the movie comes from a successful director like Koratala Siva.

And while the movie has hit the theatres today, this action drama has opened to mixed reviews from the audience. Mainly, the audience who have seen the movie were pointing out Mani Sharma’s songs and background music as the biggest minus point of the film.

Even before the release of the movie, it is rumored that director Koratala Siva faced a lot of tension because of Mani Sharma’s poor re-recording. Devi Sri Prasad has been the music director for every film directed by Koratala Shiva, from Mirchi to Bharat Ane Nenu.

However, Manisharma is selected as the music director for Acharya. Though songs like Laahe Laahe and Neelambari from have impressed the audience, it is the other two songs and background music that lost the charm.

The industry sources opined that Koratala is dissatisfied with Mani’s work and handed over the task to improvise the BGM work to Mani Sharma’s son Mahitha Sagar during the final re-recording phase.

When these rumors were in circulation, everyone thought that there is no truth in the same. But now, making all these expectations upside down, Acharya is receiving many complaints about its BGM and Music.

From the time the fans used to go mad over the combo of Mani Sharma and Chiranjeevi to the present situation where the duo disappointed, the fans are expecting Mani to take care of his future projects.
