King 100 marks a significant milestone in Nagarjuna’s career, as it is his 100th film. Produced by Annapurna Studios, the film marks the Telugu directorial debut of Ra Karthik. The glimpse unveiled on Nagarjuna’s birthday received a thumping response. King 100 also marks the reunion of Nagarjuna and Tabu after 28 years. Their earlier on-screen association remains memorable, but the makers are bringing them together in a completely different setting this time, with war replacing romance as the central theme.
On the occasion of Tabu’s birthday, the makers have unveiled a new glimpse introducing her as Mahanthi Jhansi Rani. A powerful woman, an imposing public presence and an attitude that refuses to bow to luck define this character. Her impactful voiceover establishes her ideology and uncompromising nature even before she makes her appearance.
Tabu looks every bit the powerful personality she portrays. Her elegant appearances in traditional sarees, composed expressions and royal demeanour create an imposing impression. She exudes effortless authority, portraying a character with immense influence and the courage to confront anyone who stands in her way.
The film also boasts an impressive technical team. Raja Mahadhevan handles the cinematography, Devi Sri Prasad composes the music, Navin Nooli takes charge of editing, and Sathees Kumar N oversees production design. The visual richness and impactful score are already evident in the glimpse.
King 100 is set to arrive in theatres on December 24, making it a special Christmas attraction.
