Rashmika Is Not A Heroine But The Hero Of This Film!

Nation’s crush Rashmika Mandanna is on a roll these days. She has a series of projects with big star heroes in multiple languages.

Apart from acting in big-budget commercial flicks, Rashmika is also choosing author-backed roles. She got one such role in the upcoming film Sita Ramam. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, this film features Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.

The makers have unveiled the first look teaser of Rashmika about a month ago, on the occasion of her birthday. She plays the role of a Muslim girl named Afreen in the movie.

Speaking about her role, Hanu said that Rashmika is not a heroine in this film but a hero. He stated that her role as a Kashmiri Muslim has a lot of depth.

Apparently, Rashmika did a lot of research and homework for this character. She watched a lot of videos and downloaded various images to get her character right. Hanu opined that this will turn out to be one of the best roles in Rashmika’s career.

Sita Ramam is currently in the production stage. It is expected to hit the screens later this year.
