Acharya Prices Still Not Coming Down; Why?

From this Friday, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya will be into its second week and the film is already witnessing poor footfalls in many locations. But then, one would have played it quite smartly to get the audience to theatres, but it looks like the distributors of the film are not even thinking about it.

Apparently, Acharya ticket was priced at nearly Rs 400 in metropolitan cities like Hyderabad for the first three days of the release. Now that the film is running into the second week, the ticket price is brought down to Rs 250. However, with new releases like Vishwaksen’s AVAK and Suma’s Panchayati priced at Rs 200 in multiplexes, who would spend a higher amount to watch a flop film like Acharya in theatres?

As the date of Amazon Prime Video streaming of Acharya is also doing rounds, maybe the makers should have smartly brought down the price of the ticket to around 100-150 rupees.

That would have sparked an interest in many folks who would want to have that theatrical experience though it’s a movie whose verdict is already out. That move would have filled more coffers before the final exit of Acharya from theatres. Isn’t it?
