SVP Gets Ticket Rate Hike In Andhra Pradesh

Of late, the movie ticket rates issue has become a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh. The state government is allowing the hike of ticket rates only for the films that are made with a high budget of more than Rs. 100 crores (excluding remunerations).

In the recent past, it allowed a hike for films like Radhe Shyam, RRR, and Acharya. Even though Acharya fails to fulfill the requirements, it was given a hike in the ticket rates.

Now, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata has also got permission to hike the ticket rates. The government issued a GO declaring the same.

The AP government allowed all theatres in the state to increase an amount of Rs. 45 on the ticket price. The hike can be applicable to all classes.

The makers are happy with the hike given by the government. The bookings are expected to start soon.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the government of Telangana will also allow a hike in the ticket rates for this movie. Sarkaru Vaari Paata hits the screens on May 12.
