Major Trailer: You Might Take My Life, But Not My Country

Adivi Sesh’s maiden Pan India project Major is getting ready for release on June 3rd. To hype all the buzz around the movie, the team came up with theatrical trailer today. Superstar Mahesh Babu did the honours of releasing the video.

As shown in the trailer, From Sandeep’s childhood, to his budding college romance, to the days of his training to glorious years in the army to the tragic events – everything is packed into the film.

“Rather being a good son and husband, it was necessary for him to be a good soldier,” says his father proudly while delivering a speech. Major’s slogan was “You might take my life, but not my country,” is very motivational.

It’s like watching the showreel of the 26/11 hero. Sesh masterfully re-enacted the powerful life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Saiee Manjrekar looked apt as Major’s girlfriend and wife. Prakash Raj delivered one of the best performances, wherein Revathi is brilliant as Major’s mother.

While the story and screenplay were penned by Sesh himself, Sashi Kiran Tikka directed the movie like a master. Technically too, the trailer looks top-notch.

Overall, the trailer has set the bar further high on the movie.
