Ranveer Singh Goes Mad Listening To ‘Oo Antava’

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn stirred a debate between Bollywood and South Indian movie industry after reacting to actor Kiccha Sudeep’s statement about Hindi no longer being ‘a national language’. Many actors and filmmakers joined this debate, supporting their own industry.

But speaking his heart out, Bollywood actor Ranveer in an interview with India Today said that all the movie industries across the world are the same to him. He said he has always seen it as Indian cinema and he is proud of our country’s diversity.

Ranveer further said, “My favorite song is Oo Antava. Music touches me. It does something to me. I go mad listening to it. Why is that (south films) considered to be regional cinema? Even Hindi cinema is a region.” Pointing out that he’s extremely proud of India’s diversity, Ranveer said that he wants to work in different films apart from Hindi.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently busy with the promotions of Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which is scheduled for a grand release on 13th May, 2022.
