Does Devarakonda Really Need Pawan Kalyan’s Title?

The first look poster of much awaited Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha is finally out and the film is titled “Kushi”, much to anyone’s surprise. No matter how catchy, colorful and crazy the first look poster is, one can’t stop taking their attention away from the title. And that is because the title happens to be that of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster film “Kushi”.

As the Kushi movie completed two decades already, anyone could use the title for sure, but none would expect a sensational star like Vijay Devarakonda re-using it. No doubt, this young hero is having a massive craze but then his fans are worried about the negative sentiments involving such superhit titles. Because films like Tholiprema and Gang Leader, which happen to be titles of yesteryear super hit films, haven’t seen big success in the present era. Though Tholiprema is above average, Gang Leader featuring Nani is a disaster.

Owing to those facts and also the negative reaction one might get from fans and supporters of that particular film and its cast, it is better to avoid such a title is what many film analysts also feel. Anyway, with none of the Devarakonda’s recent films working out at the box office, he is hoping that Liger and Kushi will put him back on track.
