Kangana Ranaut had been promoting her new movie Dhaakad for the last few days as the film is set for release on May 20, this Friday.
The censor screening of Dhaakad was held today and the film has received an ‘A’ certificate, but not a U/A rating. That means the movie is only for adults, but the producer says he’s not disappointed with the censor rating and he says he sort of expected it because the film has loads of action.
The makers did not want to disturb the flow by cutting down some action scenes to get a U/A. The duration og the film is 2 hours and 10 minutes and there is nothing deleted from the final draft that was submitted to the CBFC office at Peddar Road.
Dhaakad is all about a fiery agent Agni who hunts down the bad guys. Kangana appears as Agni and her task is to put down the baddie Rudraveer (Arjun Rampal), the man who runs Asia’s biggest human trafficking syndicate. The spy thriller also stars Divya Dutta and Saswata Chatterjee. The movie is directed by Razneesh Ghai.
