Villain Woes For Mahesh-Trivikram!

Superstar Mahesh Babu will start shooting for his next film soon. Tentatively called SSMB 28, this movie is being directed by Trivikram. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in it. The shoot is expected to begin next month.

Meanwhile, the makers are trying it hard to find a suitable actor for the antagonist role in this movie. According to the sources, Trivikram wants to rope in a star hero for this role.

A couple of days ago, it was reported that Tarakarathna will essay this role. However, it was later proved that he is not part of the film. In the beginning, even Mahesh fans were worried about Tarakarathna’s inclusion because he doesn’t add any X-factor to the movie.

As per the latest buzz, the makers are considering the likes of Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Prithviraj Sukumaran now. Sethupathi was seen in straight Telugu films like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Uppena. Fahadh acted in the recent blockbuster Pushpa. Both of them have good popularity in Telugu and their inclusion will definitely increase the hype.

On the flip side, Prithviraj is yet to make his Telugu debut. The actor generally stays away from doing negative characters. So, it has to be seen if he agrees to do this role or not. If he comes on board, he will be another perfect choice and also will bring more hype to the film.

SSMB 28 is the third film in the combination of Mahesh and Trivikram, after Athadu and Khaleja. S. Thaman is composing the music for this project. Radhakrishna is bankrolling the project.
