Sushant’s Death Case: GF Rhea Hires Expensive Lawyer

Actor Sushant Singh Raput’s mysterious death case is taking several turns and twists. Sushant’s father and family filed an FIR against Sushant’s ex girlfriend and fiancee Rhea Chakraborty alleging her of indulging in “financial fraud” and accusing that huge sum of money has been transferred to Rhea’s account from Sushant’s account and accusing Rhea of using Sushant’s credit card during their Europe trip.

Sushant’s father Krishna Kumar Singh in his FIR petition alleged Rhea Chakraborty and six other family members of abetting Sushant’s suicide. He alleged that Rhea tried to use Sushant’s contacts and used him for “financial gains” and Rhea’s family members had interfered in Sushant-Rhea’s personal affairs thus abetted him to take a drastic step.

Amidst raining allegations, Rhea has hired an expensive lawyer to represent her and fight her side. Top criminal lawyer Satish Maneshinde is going to present Rhea’s case.

Anandini Fernandes, a prominent criminal lawyer who works for Satish Maneshinde, met Rhea yesterday in her house and discussed with her for three hours after the FIR was registered in Bihar. Anandini was snapped coming out of Rhea’s house after 3 hours. According to reports, Rhea Chakraborty is likely to apply for interim bail.

It can be noted that Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, her parents, and Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal code – 306 (abetment to suicide). 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation), 120 (criminal conspiracy) – and also charged them under the Mental Health Care Act.
