Adivi Sesh’s Major took a flying start in the USA. Right before the release, there was a big buzz among people due to the intriguing trailer. Thus, the premiere sales were excellent.
Including the premieres and the first two days of its run, Major collected more than $700k at the box office. This is the career-best opening for Adivi Sesh.
The makers have also stated that more Telugu shows are being added all over the United States from Sunday due to the demand.
It is expected to cross the one million mark soon. The backing of Superstar Mahesh Babu helped Major in getting a wide release in the Telugu states as well as the USA.
Major is the biographical drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai Attacks.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, this movie features Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma and Sobhita Dhulipalla in the other important roles.
