Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s recent blockbuster Vikram is creating new records at the Tamilnadu box office. The actor is extremely happy with the film tasting a big hit in all languages it released. Meanwhile, the film entered the elite 2.5 million dollar club at the USA box office.
Despite new releases, Vikram registered extraordinary numbers on Saturday and Sunday at the USA box office, paving the way for the film to run towards 3 million dollar rupees at the ticket windows.
With this latest achievement, Vikram has become the third South Indian film to enter the 2.5 million dollar club this year at the USA box office. Also, Vikram is the third highest grosser in Tamil, after 2PointO and Kabali.
At the end of the second weekend, the Kamal Haasan starrer also breached the 300 Cr rupees club.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram featured Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, and others. Suriya played a guest role in the film.
