Ahead of her movie Virata Parvam’s release, the very talented Sai Pallavi is busy promoting it. During one of the interviews, the actress spoke about a sensitive topic and words from her have triggered a controversy.
To answer a question about being a leftist or rightist, Sai Pallavi recalled an incident during Covid times where a Muslim driver wastransporting a cow and got beaten up by the people who were raising slogans ‘Jai Shreeram’. In the same context, she mentioned the Kashmir Files movie where it was shown how Kashmir Pandits were attacked. Relating both the topics, Sai Pallavi wanted to tell that there is no difference in both situations because the violence in the name of religion is inhuman everywhere.
‘If you ask me if I am a Leftist or rightist there is no justice on either side if you are not a good human being. You will be neutral everywhere if you are a good human being’ She said.
Well, she had that clarity on what she is speaking, but it is unfortunately taken by the people on how they want it. In a completely unwanted way, Sai Pallavi’s name is trending on social media along with hashtags like BanVirataParvam. Her actual words appear to have been manipulated by only sending only a few minutes of her interview instead of bringing on the whole context.
