Even before ‘Brahmastra’ Bollywood hero Ranbir Kapoor will be having a big release in the form of ‘Shamshera.’ The film’s release is slated on July 22nd but till date there is no update from the team.
Amidst this a poster of Ranbir Kapoor from the movie leaked online and fans are going gaga over it. With long hair and beard, Ranbir’s transformation is quite shocking and he looks unrecognizable in the picture.
Ranbir is essaying the role of a dacoit in ‘Shamshera’ and it is all about a dacoit tribe that fights for its rights and independence from the British Raj. There are also rumours that Ranbir is essaying dual roles in i.e, both father and son in the movie. Yet it is to be acknowledged.
Yash Raj Films which is producing ‘Shamshera’ did not respond to the leaked poster.
Also starring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, Karan Malhotra is directing the movie.
‘Shamshera’ was announced in May 2018 and was supposed to release in 2019. Delay in shooting, followed by Covid-19, pushed Shamshera’s arrival.
