Chor Bazaar, featuring Akash Puri in the lead role is headed for theatrical release on the 24th of June. The director of the film, Jeevan Reddy interacted with media today and opened up about the film.
Unlike my previous 2 films Dalam and George Reddy, this film – Chor Bazaar is a full on entertainer. We bought in many items from Chor Bazaar area in Hyderabad for our film’s shoot. I know the people of Chor Bazaar very well, Jeevan said.
Jeevan went on to say that Akash Puri is a very dedicated actor and the latter used to come on to the sets even before he himself (director) did. “Puri Jagannadh is a good person and Akash is an even better person”.
Jeevan went on to say Puri okayed Chor Bazaar script even without listening to it as such was the confidence he had in him. He states the characters in the film will have a natural vibe.
The talented director says Akash’s Bachchan Saab character in the film will be a funny one and he promised a proper entertainer with this action comedy. Jeevan said he will announce his next project in the next few days.
