Singer Chinmayi Sripada and actor/filmmaker Rahul Ravindran are blessed with twins. The former took to social media to announce the arrival of their little bundles of joy, Driptah and Sharvas.
The singer also shared a couple of adorable pics, revealing the tiny hands of the twins. Chinmayi is known for being very active on social media and she often responds to women’s issues in her own style.
Her massive followers on Twitter and Instagram congratulated the couple and several expressed excitement on the arrival of twins. Unlike others, Chimayi also impressively managed to keep her pregnancy low-key.
Meanwhile, she captioned the post as “Driptah and Sharvas..The new and forever centre of our Universe” and tagged Rahul. The couple got married in 2014.
Chinmayi has been at the forefront of highlighting claims of sexual harassment in the Indian music industry, in what is widely considered India’s Me Too movement. Apart from her active singing and dubbing career, she is also currently the CEO of Blue Elephant, a translation services company she founded in August 2005.
