Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu’s Akhanda is one of the biggest blockbusters post Covid-19 pandemic. The movie has shook mass audiences to the core.
Balayya’s terrific show and Boyapati’s powerful direction coupled with SS Thaman’s thumping background score together made Akhanda big success. This paved the way for the Akhanda sequel.
Here is the latest update. The makers want to make Akhanda 2 even bigger and better and will incorporate all prevailing political conditions. It is strongly buzzed that Akhanda 2 may be released in early 2024 ahead of the general election. It is heard that the film may have some hard-hitting scenes based on some real incidents and may target some political parties and leaders indirectly.
Buzz is that Akhanda 2 will be Pan India film and will have the same team. It marks the fourth collaboration of Boyapati and Balakrishna after Simha, Legend and Akhanda. Akhanda 2 will also mark the reunion of Boyapati and Thaman.
Producer Miryala Reddy is planning to launch his brother-in-law as the hero in his next project for which Srikanth Addala is helming. Post this, Miryala will bankroll Akhanda 2.
Meanwhile, Boyapati’s next film is with Ram Pothineni. After the Boyapati-Ram film, he will move onto Akhanda 2. Films and politics are inseparable. So, let’s wait and watch.
