Megastar Chiranjeevi has attended as a Chief Guest at Maruthi and Gopichand’s “Pakka Commercial” that is hitting cinemas this week. During the event, Megastar has revealed that he has a different connection with Gopichand that the world doesn’t know. And here’s that interesting thing.
“When I’ve just joined Intermediate First Year in CSR Sharma Colege, Ongole, Gopichand’s father T Krishna gaaru is the Final Year Degree student. He asked him to support him in the Student Federation elections for which I obliged. Later on, we both ended up in films, and though we haven’t worked together we traveled different paths and carved a name” said Chiranjeevi.
Later he felt sad for the early death of T Krishna and went on to say that Tollywood is witnessing T Krishna in the form of Gopichand. However, Chiru and Krishna never worked together as director and actor. And then the Matinee Idol heaped praises on Gopichand for the kind of films he chose.
“Gopichand’s movies like Sahasam, Okkadunnadu and Chanakya are a huge favorite of mine. I love the way he picks up different subjects, though they were all commercial films only” said Chiru, wishing the young hero good luck for the success of Pakka Commercial.
