Tamil Nadu chief minister Thalapathy Vijay is preparing to create history by becoming the first Tamil chief minister to participate in the world economic forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Apparently, Vijay is prepairing his administration to travel to Davos in January next year in order to participate in the WEF event that is held here annually.
The previous chief ministers did not play as much emphasis on travelling to Davos for official purposes. There was not enough impetus that was put into inviting global investments to Tamil Nadu till now.
However, Thalapathy Vijay, who is representing the current generation of Tamil folk is himself to set a new precedent. His presence at the world economic forum, good very well invite new avenues to Tamil Nadu.
It must be kept in mind that this annual economic forum is traditionally visited by Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu over the last few decades. He was one of the first chief ministers to start this tradition in India.
Now we are gradually witnessing Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and other chief minister also travelling to Davos, Switzerland for investment attraction purposes. Now it appears that neighbouring Tamil Nadu chief minister Vijay is also taking inspiration from the same.
