Vijay’s Varasudu Has ‘Agnyathavasi’ Connect?

Tamil Superstar Vijay is all set to make his debut in Tollywood with a straight Telugu movie as he has a huge market here. Being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, this movie is being produced by Dil Raju and directed by Vamsi Paidipally. And here’s an interesting snippet being heard about this movie.

A talk is doing rounds that Vijay and Vamsi’s movie which is titled “Varasudu” has a storyline that is pretty close to Pawan Kalyan’s super flop film Agnyathavasi.

Directed by Trivikram, that movie has a story lifted from the French film “Largo Winch” and even fought a legal case over the same. They say that Vamsi has taken the basic premise of this movie and altered it big time as a commercial Indian film such that it would work at the box office.

Over and again, Largo Winch and Agnyathavasi plots are used by Indian filmmakers big time and maybe this is a mere gossip about Vijay’s movies after the title “Varasudu” (Heir) was revealed.

Anyway, Vamsi needs to bounce back strongly with this movie as it has turned out to be a huge gap after Maharshi movie, which was already forgotten by the audience.
