Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently doing a film with director KS Ravindra aka Bobby. Tentatively called Mega 154, this movie features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. It is being heard that the makers are considering the title Waltair Veeraiah for this movie.
Meanwhile, the latest grapevine suggests that Malayalam star Biju Menon is in talks to play the antagonist in this movie. Biju is a senior star in Malayalam and has given many blockbusters in his career.
He has also acted in Telugu films like Ranam and Khatarnak. After the disastrous result of Khatarnak, he didn’t act in Telugu. Now, finally, he may come back to Tollywood with Waltair Veeraiah. An official announcement is expected to be made once he signs the dotted lines.
For the unversed, Biju Menon is the one who played Pawan Kalyan’s role in Bheemla Nayak’s original Malayalam version, Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
Mega 154 also features Ravi Teja in a key role. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It is slated for Sankranthi 2023 release.
