Nayattu Remake: Allu Arvind Changed Casting?

Upon watching the film “Nayattu” on Netflix, many audiences across India got thrilled and Telugu film lovers got glued to it. The film deals with the story of three runaway cops who are entangled in the death of a person from a minority community. As this Malayalam film stunned everyone, ace producer Allu Arvind immediately bought the rights to remake it in Telugu.

Apparently, the remake was launched last year with Rao Ramesh, Priyadarshi and Anjali playing the lead roles, while Karuna Kumar of Palasa movie fame was supposed to direct. But after the pooja ceremony, rumours have popped up that the film’s shooting got halted.

And today, with Geetha Arts launching another movie that features Srikanth, Rahul Vijay and Sivani Rajasekhar in the leads under Teja Marni’s direction, it has come out that this is nothing but the remake of “Nayattu” movie.

If this new launch is the remake of Nayattu, then what happened to the previous one? On that note, one would wonder why Allu Arvind changed the total casting and crew of the movie. They say that director Karuna Kumar walked out first and others walked out later citing various reasons, while some say that Arvind scrapped the project with that team after watching the rushes.
