21-year-old Kannada beauty Sini Shetty has been crowned with the prestigious VLCC Femina Miss India World title for the year 2022. She pipped 30 other contestants who represented various Indian states to win the crown. Rubal Shekhawat of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh’s Shinata Chauhan were declared first and second runners-up respectively.
Sini Shetty hails from Mumbai, but has her roots in Karnataka. She had earlier won Femina Miss Karnataka 2022 title to represent her state for the Miss India title in the grand finale. Sini holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is currently pursuing CFA. The beauty with brains is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
After winning the Femina Miss Karnataka 2022 crown, Sini underwent rigorous training and grooming sessions, mentored by the best in the industry, in Mumbai. She is quite popular on Instagram, and has over 70K followers. She will represent India at Miss World 2022 in the Philippines.
VLCC Femina Miss India grand finale was held at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai last night. Former models a turned Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea and Malaika Arora, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar, and former cricketer Mithali Raj as the jury members.
Kriti Sanon, Lauren Gottlieb, and Ash Chandler enthralled the audience with their scintillating performances. Maniesh Paul hosted the star-studded event. The grand finale will be aired on Sunday, 17th July at 12 noon and 5pm on Colors HD.
