Welcome The Chola Crown Prince! The Wild Tiger

Ace director Mani Ratnam’s dream project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. The film has a huge star cast and now we have the first look of Chiyaan Vikram.

Essaying the role of the Chola Crown Prince Aditya Karikalan, Vikram looks outrageously fearless in the first look. Sporting long hair and heavy armour, Vikram resembles a wild Tiger in the poster.

This is Vikram’s second film with director Mani Ratnam after ‘Villain.’ ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is based on Kalki’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and the film is being made in multiple parts on pan India scale.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala and Prakash Raj are part of the big cast.

Likewise Mani Ratnam has employed country’s top technicians like Rahman, Ravi Varman and Sreekar Prasad for music, camera and editing respectively.

Produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is slated for release on September 30th.
