Usually, in time-travel films, people from the present go to the past and future and do something crazy and that’s what we have seen in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Aditya 369 as well.
And Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is all about a past king coming to the present timeline of humans and doing the destruction or whatever. While the trailer is impressive, they say the storyline is heavily inspired by western content.
There are so many series on Netflix that are close to Bimbisara but a negative villainous character coming to the present day from a past is quite glorified in “Always A Witch” series.
We hear that the makers have taken the basic line from this series where dreaded witches from an ancient time come to present day on a rescue mission.
At the same time, there are other time travel stories that are mixed into this, but the focus is about the story of anti-hero who come into this world, but not the time travel on the whole.
On the other hand, going by trailer, Bimbisara looks like they have made good use of the latest UnReal technology to simulate various forts and ancient looks quite easily, and have carved out many stunning scenes.
