Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is going to tie the knot on Thursday and this will be his second marriage. The 48 year old stand-up comedian turned politician will marry Gurpreet Kaur who is said to be a doctor by profession.
The wedding will take place at CM Mann’s residence in Chandigarh but it will be a low key affair, said the Punjab CMO sources. Only Mann’s and Gurpreet family members will be attending the wedding while an invitation was also extended to Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal.
Mann’s first marriage was with Inderpreet Kaur and in March 2015, Mann and Inderpreet Kaur filed for divorce by mutual consent in the court. Mann and Kaur were blessed with two kids Dilshan Mann (17) and daughter, Seerat Kaur Mann (21). Currently Mann’s first wife along with the children lives in the USA.
