Exclusive: Megastar Searching For A Web Series Now

Megastar Chiranjeevi has a big lineup of movies including that of blockbuster remakes and ultimate originals. However, at a time when everyone is making their presence felt in OTT arena, it looks like he want to become that first superstar who will first make his debut there.

At a time when big superstars of India including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Mohanlal and Salman Khan are yet to make their OTT debut, it looks like their peer Chiranjeevi wants to go there.

Reports are coming right now that a couple of Content Heads from big OTT platforms that are ruling India right now are said to have met Chiranjeevi through a team of Konidela Productions. Upon being convinced by the Content Heads to do a web series, even Chiru is said to have given it a go.

But then, doing a big commercial film is different from doing a web series. Though Chiranjeevi understands this, the mass image won’t work in this arena but only content works. He’s said to have asked the content heads to pitch him the right projects and he will be ready even to do a negative role if the story and the setup is interesting. We have to see what happens.
