‘It’s pretty normal only, and I’m getting sleep’, Vijayendra Prasad’s First Reaction

The writer of superhit films like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan got a perfect honour from the Government of India other day, as the BJP-led Centre nominated him for Rajyasabha from Andhra Pradesh state. However, when media folks tried to speak to the super talented writer about this, they experienced a strange reaction.

Most of the media folks, before asking his response about the Rajyasabha nomination, are said to have asked him,”Sir, how are you feeling about this?”. And for many bigwigs of media, the Baahubali writer is said to have told, “It’s pretty normal only, and I’m getting sleep”. Though Vijayendra Prasad expressed happiness saying that he should do something for the country now after getting nominated, he’s said to have felt pretty normal about the whole thing.

That’s how even Rajamouli reacts after delivering a big blockbuster like Baahubali and RRR, like his father, who felt super cool and simple about being nominated to Rajyasabha. Guess what, the Baahubali writer is said to have rejected even the idea of the Rajamouli family celebrating this nomination, as he feels that celebrating is nothing but politicising the thing rather than taking the honour.
