Actress’s Satire On ’24 Inch Waist & 36 Inch Chest’ Stardom

Bollywood actress Kajol has got some biggest hits to her credit. She is known to speak her mind most often and at a recent event, she did it again.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol spoke about the advent of OTT and how it has taken the equal stage as the theatrical cinema. Speaking about the actors in OTT, she said they are ‘genuinely fabulous’ and it is good they are getting a chance to showcase their talent and become stars. During the same context, she took a dig at film industry’s obsession with shapely women and their physical appearances.

Kajol said, ‘You have people who are genuinely fabulous actors getting a stage and being able to show exactly what they are capable of, and becoming stars in their own right despite the fact that they don’t have a 24 inches waistline and a 36 inches chest or a 46 inches chest.’

Kajol recently completed three decades in films and he was invited to the Oscar committee in the Class of 2022. On work front, Kajol will be seen in Salaam Venky by Revathi.
