‘Liger’ Doing A ‘Saaho’ Stunt!

Puri Jagan’s one of the most awaited films is none other than “Liger” which has Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Panday in the leads. Apparently, the dashing director is hoping to make it big in the Bollywood arena with this film. In that process, the director actually implemented lots of Bollywood techniques for the movie.

When the film “Liger” was started, everyone thought that Telugu composer Sunil Kashyap will score for the movie. But then, the first song “Akdi Pakdi” was out now and fetched millions of views for the Hindi version, and guess who composed it. In fact, Sunil Kashyap gave the hook line, but the song was composed by Lijo George and Dj Chetas. Lijo has earlier composed hit numbers like Sauda Khara Khara (Good Newzz) and Mera Wala Dance (Simmba).

Guess what, the forthcoming songs of “Liger” will have each song composed by a different music director. This is a super-hit technique being followed by Bollywood for some time while Tollywood has witnessed that with Saaho, where each song was composed by a different composer like Tanishk Bagchi, Baadshah and Shankar Ehsaan Loy, while Ghibran has given the background score.

This stunt is however working very well in Bollywood, but how will it work here in Tollywood is something we have to see. Though Saaho songs are a huge hit here as well, the film didn’t do well, so none appreciated this idea. Let’s see what Liger will do.
