In her extensive career, Samantha acted alongside various star actors and delivered multiple blockbusters. Now, she has changed her route. She is proving to be versatile with her choices. Her lineup proves the same.

She did a negatively shaded role in The Family Man season 2. Later, she did a seductive item song in Pushpa. She is playing a mythological role in Shaakuntalam. Her Yashoda is based on a real-life incident. Meanwhile, we hear that she is playing a quirky role in Kushi.

According to the latest reports, Samantha will play a negative role in Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, which Lokesh Kanagaraj will direct. She will be seen as a cop with negative shades.

This will be another interesting project for her if the news is true. This will be the fourth film in the combination of Vijay and Samantha, after Kaththi, Mersal, and Theri.

It looks like Samantha is trying to be in the limelight by not doing the roles which she did in the past and choosing versatile characters.

The icing on the cake is that she is also doing many Hindi ads and will soon be venturing into Hindi films. Is this her way of conveying that she is still at the top of her game?
