Even mega-producer Dil Raju might have not expected this to happen, but audiences are always taking Tollywood for a surprise ride these days. And once again, they have stunned the exhibitors and distributors today as they preferred to watch something on OTT than go to theatres.
Poor word of mouth and incessant rains have surely affected the chances of this Friday’s released movie “Thank You” in a big way. By the evening, with megacities like Hyderabad completely sunk in the water, some of the audiences haven’t dared to come out of their homes.
These people along with the others have mostly caught up with new films released on OTT platforms and the big choice of the Telugu audience is none other than Dil Raju’s production F3 which was released on Netflix.
Though some urban audiences have caught up with “The Gray Man” and “Jug Jugg Jeeyo” in top cities of Telugu states, others have stuck to “F3”.
Thus we can say that a film produced by Dil Raju got all the attention as the other film that was produced by Dil Raju but released in theaters now. Also, should we say, more than the message (Thank You), audience preferred comedy (F3)?
