Superstar Mahesh Babu fans are celebrating their matinee idol’s birthday this year by re-releasing the industry hit Pokiri in a remastered 4k print. Pokiri’s remastered version is having a theatrical re-release on August 9, on the occasion of Mahesh’s birthday.
Ever since the re-release news broke out, fans are waiting to witness the Pokiri euphoria in theatres once again. The mania has reached the USA as well. The advance bookings of this film are going on a sensational note.
Three special shows are added in Cine Lounge, Fremont for this movie. The tickets for one show are already sold out. The seats in the other two shows are filling fast. This proves the craze of Pokiri in the USA. As per the trade reports, the film collected a gross of $819 so far, through these special shows.
If this is the case in the USA, imagine the situation in the Telugu states. On the whole, we are going to witness a massive Mahesh Mania on August 9th in theatres.
Directed by Puri Jagannath, Pokiri featured Ileana as the female lead. Prakash Raj, Nasser, Ashish Vidyarthi and Ajay played the other key roles in it.
