Bollywood hero Ranveer Singh is famous for his fashion sense. But a few days back he stunned everyone by going extremely bold in his bare body for a magazine photoshoot. Ranveer posted the photos on Instagram and they created a huge storm. With the storm, a complaint was also lodged against Ranveer.
Following up the case, a team of Mumbai Police visited Ranveer’s residence earlier in the day to serve notices. However Ranveer wasn’t at home when the police arrived and the cops were informed that he would be back to the city on August 16th. The police put a word that he should appear before them on August 22nd.
A senior official of Mumbai Police informed that Ranveer Singh will be questioned in connection with the case as he was charged under sections 292 (sale of obscene books), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young persons) and 509 (act intending to outrage modesty of women) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), along with Section 67A of the IT Act.
The police also said they would record Ranveer’s statement and a lot will depend upon it. For now it is unclear whether he will be in trouble or get arrested.
