Aamir’s Film Struggles To Make 50 Crore!

Aamir Khan is the King of Box Office. He is the founder of Rs 100 Crore, Rs 150 Crore, Rs 200 Crore, Rs 250 Crore and Rs 300 Crore club in Bollywood. Aamir’s Ghajini is the first Indian film to cross Rs 100 Crore. However, Aamir is now struggling to make even Rs 50 Crore with his latest release Laal Singh Chaddha.

The trade has declared Laal Singh Chaddha as a flop since the five-day earning of the film is lower than the opening of Thugs of Hindostan that failed to meet the expectations.

On 6th Day which is Tuesday, Laal Singh Chaddha earned meagre Rs 2 Crore. With this it is estimated that Laal Singh has made about Rs 48 Crore in 6 Days. In 6 days, the film is unable to cross the Rs 50 crore mark. On Independence Day, Laal Singh witnessed a drop in its collections that is rare for a star hero’s film on a national holiday. According to Box Office India, the film may not earn Rs 75 Crore in its full run which is a sad part that too for a star who created records after records at the BO.

It can be noted that the film is affected by severe backlash and boycott trending in social media. While Laal Singh is the official and large-scale remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump, but it is not well received by critics and audiences alike.
