Vijay Deverakonda Confirms A Sequel Of LIGER

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey are playing the lead roles in the upcoming Telugu film LIGER. Directed by Puri Jagannath, the film is hitting the screens on the 25th of August. The team is busy with promotions currently, and during the interaction with a Bollywood media portal, Vijay confirmed that the film’s sequel is possible.

Vijay Deverakonda participated in the Koffee with Karan chat show, resulting in a lot of speculation that the equation between the two has gone for a toss. However, Vijay has given clarity on the same.

Vijay held Karan Johar in high regard, saying that he was the one who made Baahubali reach the entire country.

“I come from Hyderabad, and my director Puri sir comes from a small town called Narsipatnam in AP. Karan liked our story and came forward to help us,” said Vijay, adding that the film will definitely have a sequel, but then it is too early to talk about the same.

Charmmee Kaur and Puri Jagan are jointly producing the film. Karan Johar is presenting the film to audiences in Bollywood.
