Actor Arya is known for his unique and versatile film choices. After entertaining the audience with films like Teddy and Sarpatta in the recent past, he is now coming up with his new venture Captain. Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, the trailer of this film was unveiled today. The trailer has the shades of Predator.
Arya plays the role of an Army captain in the movie. He gets on the mission to find out the reason behind the mysterious deaths in a forest area. The trailer hints that an alien is behind these mysterious deaths. How Arya and his team deal with that alien might be the main crux of the movie.
Sci-fi films are made quite rarely in India. Captain looks like an interesting sci-fi thriller made against the backdrop of the Indian Army. The action sequences look solid and so is the cinematography.
Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead in the movie. Simran, Harish Uthaman, Kavya Shetty, Gokul Anand, Suresh Menon, Bharath Raj, and Ambuli Gokul played other pivotal roles in it.
Captain is being released by Nithiin’s Shresth Movies in Telugu. It is slated for a worldwide release on September 8.
