Another Busy Friday For Tollywood

Just like every other weekend, audiences are eager to watch a new film this week as well. The holiday of Ganesh Chaturthi also makes the viewers enter cinema halls for entertainment. In the recent past, we have witnessed hits like Bimbisara, Sita Ramam, and Karthikeya 2.

As the recent release Liger proved to be a disaster, the above three films witnessed sensational bookings in the last couple of days. By now, most of regular movie-goers have watched all three hit films. So, they will be looking forward to watching a new film this week.

This Friday, we have multiple releases in Telugu. Panjaa Vaishnav Tej is coming up with Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga. However, there is a low buzz around this movie. Thus, it heavily depends on word of mouth. Another notable release of this week is First Day First Show. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the story of this film is penned by director Anudeep of Jathi Ratnalu fame. He is also promoting the film heavily for the last few days. Even this movie’s fate depends on the mouth talk.

Apart from these flicks, Die Hard Fan, Aakasha Veedhullo, Bujji Ila Ra and Naa Venta Paduthunna Chinnavadevaramma are also in the race. These are straight Telugu films that are getting released this Friday.

Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram’s dubbed film Cobra is hitting the screens on Wednesday. Vikram is in a dire need of a hit, and he has pinned a lot of hopes on this movie. We have to see how it fares at the box office. On the other side, Spiderman: No Way Home is re-releasing this Friday with extended footage. Hollywood’s cult-classic ET: Extra-Terrestrial is also re-releasing in theatres to celebrate its 30 years release anniversary. Bollywood film Come On Yaar is also getting released on September 2.

On the whole, there are a lot of films that are hitting the theatres this week and we have to see how many of them will do well at the box office.
