We have seen the recent release date clash between Macherla Niyojakavargam and Karthikeya 2. Though Karthikeya 2 had to move to a different date, the result of both the films speaks volumes that it is not about the date, but the content.
After witnessing that clash of two young heroes, a similar one from two senior heroes is happening soon. Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is set for release on October 5, for Dasara. Nagarjuna also picked the same date for the release of his ‘The Ghost’.
During the time when senior heroes are failing to create that much-needed magic with the content, Nagarjuna and Chiru clashing at the box office are surprisingly many. As per the reports, Nagarjuna’s Ghost movie was planned to move to a different date much earlier than Godfather’s release. So Megastar decided on the outing date as October 5. But now, Nagarjuna’s Ghost also announced the same date.
It is heard that Nagarjuna himself decided on The Ghost release date as October 5, for reasons only known to him. The clash is evident between The Ghost and Godfather unless there is any last-minute change. Amid these release clashes, Bellamkonda Ganesh also is coming on the same day with his Swathimuthyam. It has to be seen how both these films perform at the box office.
