Remember the name, Jerome Salle? He happens to be the director of the French film “LargoWinch” which happens to be the clear-cut inspiration behind Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavasi movie. Back then, some legal issues engulfed director Trivikram for lifting up the film but then they were settled amicably it seems.
However, when some Powerstar fans shared the details of “Jalsa” releasing theatres in France, it looks like the French director wanted to poke them with a satirical tweet. He has put up a satire saying, “Cool ! Do I have to bring a gift ? Like a script for example”. With Jalsa being the film of Pawan and Trivikram, it looks like the director has either felt that it is a copy of his own movie, or he’s just making fun of it, by saying that even this film is also a copied one.
All said and done, Jalsa happens to be an original script and there is no need to blame Trivikram for plagiarism though none could understand why the director chose to copy Agnyaathavasi from a french film anyway. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s fans are super excited about the re-release of fully mastered 4K version of Jalsa in theatres.
