It’s Official: Puri Jagannadh Shelved JGM

JGM is the most ambitious project of director Puri Jagannadh who planned to make it on large scale at Pan India level. Vijay Deverakonda who played the lead role in Liger was roped in for JGM as well. The movie was launched in a huge manner in Mumbai. They planned to begin the shoot fully, after the release of Liger.

Unfortunately, Liger is ending up as a disaster and the unexpected result made Puri to rethink on making JGM. Puri who is also one of the producers of the movie has taken a sensible conclusion and has shelved the project temporarily.

Apparently, he feels it’s not right to make the movie, after the debacle of Liger. Definitely, there will be no such buzz like Liger carried before its result. Moreover, JGM needs much bigger investment than Liger.

So, Puri will not be making JGM as his next project. He would announce the details of his next project later.
