Mega Talk: Repeating Allu Arjun & Charan Is Tough

With the film “Ranga Ranga Vaibhavamga” going for a toss at the box office, new mega hero Vaishnav Tej has tasted another flop after Krish’s “Kondapulam”. While his career started on a good note with “Uppena”, somehow he’s unable to live up to that popularity. And that brings us to the point that repeating an Allu Arjun and Ram Charan is not an easy task for every mega hero who comes into the picture.

When it comes to heroes of the mega family, both Ram Charan and Allu Arjun started on a good note with Chirutha and Gangotri respectively. Later they consolidated that success with a blockbuster as Bunny did Arya and Charan got Magadheera in the second attempt. And no other mega hero is able to repeat such a tremendous success of their debut to date.

However, other star heroes like Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Sirish and even Varun Tej, who have started on a flop note with films like Rey, Gowravam and Mukunda respectively haven’t scored big hits but only got above-average films to their name. Though some movies like Supreme and Fidaa did extremely well, the directors of those movies walked away with most credits than heroes. And now, even Vaishnav Tej has failed to repeat the initial success with two back-to-back films after the debut.

So the big question is, why is it so tough to do something like Charan’s Magadheera and Bunny’s Arya in terms of scoring a hit for the other mega heroes? From script selection to dances, acting prowess to choosing the right directors always matters, and it looks like those two 3rd generation mega heroes have successfully mastered it.
