Of course, the blame for Acharya’s failure could be easily pushed onto Koratala Siva by those who admire Megastar Chiranjeevi a lot. But then, it is quite thinkable that a senior hero like Chiranjeevi hasn’t looked into the script to find out that the film will not work at the box office. The impact that Acharya result had on Chiranjeevi will be visible in the buzz around Godfather now.
While everyone knows that Mohan Raja’s “Godfather” is a remake of the superhit Malayalam film Lucifer, somehow the teasers and posters released so far hasn’t created any buzz around the movie. For the theatre going audience, this is looking like another routine movie in a commercial format that has Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead. With reports about the film’s low business and below-par asking price popping out, we hear that Megastar Chiru is completely upset with it, as the film has only a month to go for its release.
Chiru is said to have assembled his PR teams to work out a strategy that the whole of Telugu states will be talking about Godfather for the next month such that the film will get terrific openings. Chiru wants to create huge hungama like how he did before Acharya by giving interviews to star directors and young directors.
They say that Chiranjeevi might turn up on various TV shows as well as give interviews to all the small and big media outlets now, such that the film Godfather will get a huge buzz. Let’s see what happens.
